Description

The Gigabit Media Converter aims to convert 10/100/1000BASE-T copper to 1000BASE-X optical fibers. The VEIVOT Gigabit SFP Slot Media Converter (VV-MC1G-1SF1E) features an open Gigabit SFP slot, allowing you to choose the MSA compliant SFP Optical Transceiver Module that best meet fiber connection requirements. The VEIVOT Gigabit SFP Slot Media Converter (VV-MC1G-1SF1E) allows you to choose from a variety of SFP optical transceiver modules that are suitable for your single mode or multimode cabling system and support transmission distances of up to 160km (99.4 miles), depending on the different SFP modules. Gigabit SFP media converters provide a flexible and cost-effective way to extend the distance of existing copper networks, the lifespan of non fiber optic devices, or the distance between two devices, allowing you to maximize the utilization and performance of traditional devices. Ethernet signals allow three types of network segments to be easily, efficiently, and cheaply connected.

This product provides an external power supply by default, which can be used as a standalone unit or inserted into the VEIVOT low-cost 14 slot media converter rack chassis (VV-MC-14). It allows all the fiber media converters to be powered by a single internal power supply.
