Description
The structure of Veivot Technology's GY(F)TA53 optical fiber cable: 250um optical fibers are placed in loose tubes made of high modulus plastic. The loose tube is filled with waterproof filling compound. The center strength member is a steel wire or FRP (Fiber Reinforced Polymer), and for some optical cables with a number of cores, a layer of polyethylene (PE) needs to be extruded outside the steel wire or FRP. The loose tubes (and fillers) are stranded around the central strength component to form a compact circular core, and the gaps inside the cable core are filled with waterproof fillers. An Aluminum Polyethylene Laminate (APL) is longitudinally coated and wrapped with inner PE sheath, the water blocking tape is used for strengthen waterproof protection. Then, a double-sided plastic coated steel strip (PSP) is longitudinally coated and wrapped with outer PE sheath, to form the cable.
Features
Fiber counts: 2-288 fibers
