Description

The Veivot 1000BASE SFP copper module VV-RSF-GE-T is a high-performance and cost-effective module that complies with the Fast Ethernet and 1000BASE-T standards specified in IEEE802.3u. It supports a data rate of 1000Mbps and can reach up to 100 meters. It can be transmitted through unshielded twisted pair Cat5e/Cat6 cables. All four pairs in the cable are used at a symbol rate of 250Mbps per pair. They are compatible with the Fast Ethernet and 1000BASE-T standards specified in IEEE Std 802.3. The 1000BASE-T physical layer IC (PHY) can be accessed through I2C, allowing access to all PHY settings and functions. The physical IC can also be accessed through a 2-wire serial bus with address A0h.
