Description
The MTP loopback module is widely used in testing environments, especially in parallel optical 40G networks. The device allows verification and testing of transceivers with MTP interfaces -40GBASE-SR4/CSR4 QSFP+devices. Establish a loopback to link the transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) positions of the MTP transceiver interface. MTP loopback can facilitate and accelerate IL testing of optical network segments by connecting them to MTP trunks/patch cords. Loopback module can be used for testing the transmission capability and receiver sensitivity of fiber optic network equipment.
