Description
SC quick connector is used for field installable fiber optic connectors, widely used in fiber to home (FTTH) access optical networks. They are not only suitable for single mode or multimode fibers, but can also choose 900um, 3mm, and incoming cable buffer types. The connector system has a fast installation time and low insertion loss, providing a good alternative solution for fusion welding. Installation is as simple as stripping, cleaning, cutting cams, and curling.
The assembly of SC type quick connectors only requires ordinary fiber preparation tools: fiber stripping tools, wipes, and fiber cutters. No power supply required. Simply peel off the buffer, cut and clean the fiber, and then insert the fiber into the quick connector. Installation only takes a few minutes and is very easy.
