Invisible optical fiber cable is an abbreviation for transparent and tightly buffered optical cable covered with hot melt adhesive. It is an optical cable composed of G.657.A2 or G.657.B3 fiber, a transparent tight sheath layer, and a layer of hot melt adhesive. Each layer is extruded step by step using an extrusion process, with a nominal outer diameter of 1.2mm.

The application of invisible optical cables refers to applications where users do not accept the use of leather fiber optic cables to enter homes or solve the problem of difficult access for users, especially in old residential areas and offices. The fiber used is G.657.A2 or G.657.B3 fiber, with a minimum bending radius of 5mm. When laying, there is no need to nail, make brackets, perforations, or make pipelines, which can damage the original indoor structure. There is also no need for safety hazards such as cable sagging or falling off due to the discontinuity of the laying. Meanwhile, the optical cable is almost transparent, so it will not affect the indoor aesthetics. The construction method is simple, and only handheld heating installation tools are needed to complete the laying project.
