Description

The PLC splitter is a splitter with a uniform split ratio from one input fiber to multiple output fibers. This single-mode PLC splitter is 1x4 with 1 input fiber and 4 output fibers, and the split ratio of all fibers is uniform regardless of the input wavelength. 

PLC splitters are based on PLC (Planar Lightwave Circuit) technology and are suitable for high-density applications. PLC splitters make the transmission power of each splitter output port the same, which simplifies the network architecture and reduces costs. Optical splitters play an important role in passive optical networks by allowing multiple users to share a single PON interface. Fiber splitters divide fiber light into multiple parts in a specific ratio. Since PLC splitters are small and insensitive to bending, they are almost not deformed during use, ensuring stable optical transmission.
